ADL Florida honored Ruth and Barbara as runner-ups of the No Place for Hate Day Community Change Maker Award on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
ADL Florida was thrilled to honor Ruth Gordon and Barbara Zohlman, lifelong teachers and Holocaust educators. Working together to author and illustrate Inside Out, Outside In – a book for children about tolerance and diversity, Ruth and Barbara both continue to dedicate their lives to educating children on critical social issues. Natives of Miami-Dade, these women have received deserved accolades over the past five decades for the education of children in matters of prejudice and hate.
